About El Paso Roller Derby
Statement of Purpose
El Paso Roller Derby is a non-profit 501(c) 3, competitive sports organization. We strive to improve individual athleticism, self-discipline, and character while promoting team unity. Our program provides structured training, instruction, and competition, preparing our members to represent El Paso at an international level. We are dedicated to providing community outreach through events, activities, and charity sponsorship.

Organizational Philosophy
Our intent is to provide people with an environment to enhance personal growth and a positive self-image. Through sport and level of competition, we share dreams and victories on and off the track. We train as athletes, as teammates and value the individuality that each person brings to the league. We strive for empowerment and progress in the fastest growing roller sport.
Community Involvement
EPRD first rolled onto the scene of Women’s Flat Track in September of 2010. EPRD is a part of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the international governing body of women’s flat track roller derby. Full membership is awarded only to leagues that have completed a rigorous apprentice program and have achieved the highest standards of athleticism and league management. Today there are over 360 international WFTDA member leagues and over 60 leagues in the WFTDA Apprentice program.
EPRD is an extraordinary group of people dedicated to fast-paced, hard-hitting, hip-slinging, flat track roller derby action. Our league is made up parents, students, spouses, healthcare professionals, military, veterans, law enforcement and more!
We take pride in our contributions to the El Paso community by volunteering our time to work special events in support of other non-profits, educating children on the importance of health and education, and devoting excellence and wellness to our beloved city.
